Dr. Mosharrafa earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Texas at Austin before attending Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. His surgical training and passion for excellence led him to a distinguished career in private practice, complemented by a clinical faculty position where he has educated future surgeons in the art and science of reconstructive surgery. Additionally, he serves as a subject matter expert, frequently reviewing articles for The Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Journal.
Beyond his surgical practice, Dr. Mosharrafa is deeply committed to community service and has been recognized for his contributions to organizations such as the Phoenix Dream Center and the Phoenix Police Department. He is also the co-founder of Beauty for Good, a charitable organization that provides scholarships to University of Arizona medical students whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and cheering on his favorite hockey team.
