Melinia Honjo, DHSc, PA-C, is board-certified physician assistant specializing in general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.

Her passion for dermatology was inspired at a young age when her grandfather was diagnosed with melanoma. This personal journey motivated her to strive for excellence in her specialty, aiming to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by similar conditions.

Beyond her clinical practice, Melinia dedicated five years as an adjunct clinical professor at Stanford University, where she shared her knowledge and insights with aspiring medical professionals. This role not only allowed her to shape the future of dermatology but also kept her at the cutting edge of medical research and advancements.

As a self-starter and proficient multitasker, Melinia continually seeks to learn and grow, both personally and professionally. For three years, she served as a trainer for Allergan and obtained her CAQ in dermatology, demonstrating her advanced expertise in her specialty. Melinia’s career in dermatology is more than just a profession; it is a calling to enhance the well-being of her patients through expert care, empathy, and innovative treatment approaches.

Outside the clinic, Melinia finds balance and joy in yoga, running, and quality time with her family and dogs, enriching her life beyond her professional achievements.
