67 year old Female | Laser Resurfacing and Facial Fat Grafting

This patient received 38cc injected into the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheeks, tear troughs, and temples for the facial fat grafting. Fat grafting refers to the procedural transfer of fat from one part of the body to another. Fat is taken from an area of excess fat like the abdomen or thighs and injected into areas that lack volume, such as the face, hands, breasts, or buttocks. Fat grafting is also referred to as fat transfer or fat injection. It is a long-lasting procedure that is also well tolerated.

Laser resurfacing is a non-surgical treatment designed to address the effects of sun exposure and aging on the texture, color, and overall quality of the skin. Laser resurfacing treatments are performed at varying depths and some people require more treatments than others. In general, laser resurfacing treatments successfully improve wrinkles, skin laxity, hyper-pigmentation due to sun damage, and certain kinds of scars.
