Dr. Brian deGuzman is a board-certified general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease, specifically varicose veins.
He served as Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital and was awarded Top Doctor by Boston Magazine. He is the founder and president of the 4Mati Foundation, a non-profit organization that develops local support in education and healthcare for Ethiopian orphans.
He graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed clinical and research fellowships in cardiac surgery at Harvard University. Dr. deGuzman frequently lectures across the country on his published research.
